A few words about the Athens Municipal Children’s Library

The Athens Municipal Children’s Library is located at Larissa Station and opened in May 2017. It’s a lending library and provides its services for free. Children aged 0-14 years old living in the Attica region can become members.

Its collection includes around 4,000 titles of Greek and foreign children's books. At the same time, the library offers selected wooden toys and board games. It has a large room with an auditorium for children aged 4-14, as well as a smaller room for newborns and children up to 3 years old, and their families.

The library hosts educational reading programmes for school classes, as well as events aimed to meet children’s needs for knowledge, entertainment, and creativity.
