Night of Museums 2019

On Saturday 18 May 2019, for the 10th consecutive year, the Alpha Bank Cultural Centre in Nafplio participated in the Night of Museums, the global event established by the International Council of Museums (ICOM), whereby most museums in the world remain open until midnight for 1 night in May.

At this year’s Night of Museums, young composer Katerina Polemi performed her show Love, Amor. Accompanied by violinist Vangelis Tountas, Katerina Polemi presented a selection of Greek songs, including the “Minore tis avgis” and “Mi milas allo gi’ agapi”, as well as well-known foreign songs and her own compositions, all of which focus on love and are representative of her career so far.

The performance took place on the pedestrian zone outside the Bank’s Cultural Centre.
