Committed to supporting cultural initiatives and collaborations that showcase contemporary art, the Alpha Bank Art Collection is loaning 1 work of art by renowned artist Stathis Logothetis to the exhibition hosted by the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST) in Athens:

A retrospective on the work of Stathis Logothetis

The exhibition is a major retrospective presenting the work of Greek artist Stathis Logothetis.

It presents approximately 70 works from different periods of his artistic career, which highlight both his artistic evolution and his activity in Greece and internationally through his participation in major exhibitions and events.

A distinct place within the European avant-garde

The artist’s oeuvre holds a distinct place within the European avant-garde, while it has been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, confirming his continuous presence in the contemporary art dialogue.

The artist’s style

His work stands out for its intense and often physical character, where painting is connected to the human body and natural elements. At the same time, Logothetis incorporates decay and chance into the creative process through experimentation with actions, audience participation and the exposure of his works to nature.
