The Alpha Bank Art Collection is participating in the exhibition “The Search for Happiness for as Many as Possible – Chryssa Romanos” with the work of art:

Social critique in Chryssa Romanos’ oeuvre
Romanos’ critical stance towards social and artistic issues was always at the core of her career in the arts.
Shooting is part of the collage pieces created by the artist attempting the social critique of consumerism in contemporary culture.
An artist with an international flair
Chryssa Romanos (1931-2006) was born in Athens. Between 1961 and 1981 she lived in Paris. This period proved decisive in terms of shaping her artistic identity, as the work of Greek artists of the diaspora had a major impact on shaping the international artistic movements of their era.
