The publication Economic and Social Mechanisms in the Mountain Areas, Gortynia 1715-1828 includes mostly unpublished archive material. It analyses the socioeconomic model and the mechanisms that determined the development of the mountain areas. It presents the preparations for the new state of affairs that arose following the creation of the Modern Greek state and the formation of the Modern Greek society in Gortynia in the period 1715-1825.
