What the publication includes
The publication The Works, the Landscape, the Buildings. Works of Art at the Alpha Bank Premises in Agios Stefanos presents the notable contemporary artworks that are permanently exhibited at the Alpha Bank premises in Agios Stefanos. The works are presented through rich photographic material and accompanying texts.
The introductory texts of the publication include information on the architecture of the Alpha Bank buildings in Agios Stefanos, as well as their refurbishment between 2007 and 2009.
An environment ideal for art
The large surfaces, natural light, structure and transparency of the buildings have created an ideal environment for showcasing the works of the Art Collection.
More than 40 works of art have been gradually installed in the period between 2007 and 2014 in almost every indoor and outdoor area of the buildings. During the same time, distinguished Greek artists were commissioned to create pieces for specific areas or create art on site.
